Winston
Winston
If you love nature, quaint English villages, and a good soak under the stars, Winston is your perfect match. Winston has an outdoor wood-fired hot tub that looks out across the Somerset countryside and diverse tree line. From the picture windows by the bed, you might spot a few deer or hares meandering through the long grass field surrounding the cabin. You'll feel totally secluded at Winston, but you're not too far from civilisation.
Tucked away in an unspoilt village, you can walk the Mells River Walk all the way to Frome, a gorgeous town with tonnes of independent shops, great restaurants and even a Sunday market. There is also the popular Talbot Inn within walking distance, that has top-notch roasts for cosy season and a courtyard for summer drinks.
Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a few days in the countryside, including a fully equipped kitchen with a gas hob, mini fridge, and all the essentials to cook your favourite meals. There’s a log burner inside and a fire pit outside for cosy evenings, plus our signature phone lockbox, books, and board games to keep you company.
Please note, Winston isn’t dog-friendly due to the nearby wildlife and open countryside and Winston has patchy signal inside so offers a genuine off-grid experience - a chance to disconnect and settle into nature’s pace.
Please also note Winston's tub now matches our other hot tub cabins' tubs - a new photoshoot is coming soon!

Gorgeous views, gorgeous bed and bedding (partner now wants to buy the exact same one), great games (we have since purchased Sequence), perfect sized kitchen and loved the wood fired hot tub.
Incredible!
It was lovely to get away, the cabin was comfy, and the location was great - waking up to wildlife was a treat. Frome and the surrounding area was also lovely, and every recommended place we checked out was genuinely great. The wood-fired hot tub was also a fun thing to be able to use.
Loved the privacy, comfort of the cabin, location (local walks and amenities).
Super cosy and a really great concept. The privacy was incredible and made the view and experience that much better, especially with how close we were to Frome. It felt totally of the grid. The log burner was fab and the bed was really comfortable which was such a nice bonus!
I had everything I needed!
We loved nearly everything about our stay at Winston, brilliant location, beautiful local village, the Talbot Arms was amazing! Great equipment in the cabin - sharp knives, satisfying kettle, very comfty bed and hot shower. Also really enjoyed finding random stations on the FM radio. The set up was perfect for a digital detox and genuinely didn't miss our phones so thank you so much!
Peace and quiet
It was so tranquil, so secluded. We didn't see anyone for 3 days!
Loved the woodfired bath was amazing!
Such a lovely, picturesque location. Very peaceful. Close enough to the local village and the people were so welcoming.
The privacy and location were great, the field gave us beautiful views of the sunset and lots of space to sit, read, eat and chill. The bath was an added bonus and given it was 30 degrees during our stay, we used it cold on our return from days out which was just as refreshing. We had everything we needed to cook some meals with and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
Lovely cabin - especially the bed and bedding. Very quiet and peaceful. Good instructions and info before staying.
Location and cabin itself was very well set up.
Location and cabin itself was very well set up.
Really well set up with lots of lovely touches such as the coffee and tea and high quality bedding and robes. Love the guide which helped us find the cabin easily and gave great suggestions for the local area. Really tranquil whilst also being able to walk to local villages and the pub!
