Loved the beautiful location, cabin equipment!
We loved the location and the beautiful view of the rolling hills and meadows and that the cabin was easily approachable from the car parking space. We also liked how tidy and cosy the cabin was prepared for our arrival too.
Prettiest surroundings of any cabin so far, and the animals.
Loved the area. It was so peaceful. It was easy to get to. The shower was amazing! The views were awesome.
The setting was just gorgeous, being nestled in the trees was so special! I loved boiling the water on the stove and grinding coffee beans every couple of hours for a coffee and more reading time!
We loved our woodland walks, the coffee and tea, beautiful views from the window, and all the seating options outdoors! As well as the fire stove inside. So cozy!
I loved the location! Absolutely beautiful, and so well chosen. It felt so peaceful!
Loved the secluded nature of the cabin in particular. The cabin itself was lovely and well laid out. The polaroid camera to capture memories was a lovely bonus.
Loved the location and view, the comfy bed, the games, well kitted kitchen! :)
Loved everything, it was wonderful to get away from busy every-day life for a while. The view was fantastic and I loved that all the provided handwash, shower stuff etc were eco friendly. Olive was surprisingly very spacious! The communication was great also, we were informed prior to our stay that the front stove wasn’t working properly and we were thankful for the heads up + compensation offered.
Loved the tranquility and area were beautiful - it was such a brilliant escape!
Loved the location, amenities!
We loved the two different viewpoints — the forest and the clearing — both were gorgeous, and there were amazing trails right nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was super comfy with really lovely linen sheets. But honestly, the highlight was definitely those views. The forest outlook was incredible, and cozying up by the fireplace was the perfect way to warm up.
Lots of things. The near total absence of other people. The wind in the trees and lack of road noise. The sound of pheasants and crows. There were so many different birds - chaffinches, sparrows, robins, great tits, partridge, starlings and a buzzard. The endlessly comical antics of the grey squirrels. Lying in bed and just looking at the sky and trees and the stars through the branches. Being alone together without the kids. Being warm - our own house is old and leaky - not having to wear jumpers indoors ! Long walks in less familiar countryside. I could go on . . .
Loved the quiet location with sublime views when lying in that comfortable bed. The ascetics of the cabin with lots of thoughtful details and quality tools to make coffee/tea and a toasty fire. Just being away for a few days in such a restful place was very much appreciated.
Location was perfect, amenities were great, lovely little touches ie the camera
Loved the simplicity of the cabin was so peaceful. Surrounding trees a great environment
An easy experience, clear instructions, comfortable
Stunning location, beautifully peaceful and perfect place to propose to my now fiancé :)
Loved the setting. The variety of views from the cabin, the comfy bed and it's vista
The cabin felt homey and close to nature but with all the luxuries of a house (hot water, shower etc) which I really appreciated
It was cosy and had everything I needed, loved the additional outdoor seating under the stone
we loved the setting, the peacefulness, all the animals we saw in the wild (so many!!!) , all the included goodies like fire wood/ coffee beans/ shower gel, the recommendations for activities, the fire pits, and the chance to spend good quality uninterrupted time together :)
Every detail was thought of but the comfy bed and big windows might have been the top!
