Mabel
Mabel
Mabel is tucked away in a peaceful woodland clearing, with glimpses of rolling fields beyond and the occasional horse wandering past. Step outside and you’ll find your own little outdoor seating area, complete with a fire pit for starlit evenings, plus a hidden nook where you can sit back and soak up sweeping views of the Sussex countryside - a favourite hangout spot for the local horses too.
From the drop-off point, a gentle walk through the forest leads you to Mabel’s door. Once you arrive, you’ll be completely surrounded by nature. From Mabel, you can wander for long (or short walks) and stop at some great local pubs for lunch or dinner. Inside the cabin, you'll have views into the woodland from the picture window. There's a hot shower, a well-equipped kitchen and all the offline essentials for 3 nights offline. Lock your phone away and replace it with an instant camera, board games, a selection of books and a physical map and compass to explore the local area.
Because of the nearby roaming wildlife, Mabel isn’t suitable for dogs - but her beautiful setting more than makes up for it.

Loved the peacefulness, the view, the 2 outdoor seating areas!
Loved the coffee and coffee grinder were amazing, the quality of the tea, the cooker and fridge worked brilliantly. We had plenty of wood and fire lighters and everything we needed for a fire. The bed and bedding so comfy. The sheep and horses and location and the view!!!!!! Unreal.
Loved the peace and quiet. The infrastructure and fit out of the cabin. The cleanliness. The instant camera. The comfy outdoor chairs. The surrounding area. The ease of the app. The shower.
The location itself, cabin surrounded by trees, the view, it was so peaceful and minimal. But at the same time all the details were considered, it was very comfortable. We totally felt disconnected from daily stress.
The location was wonderful. Even better than I expected. Was interesting to look out (from the nice surprise of the hidden seated area) towards the curious temple, and also to discover the Follies of 'Mad Jack' in the area. Also loved being nestled in nature, the surrounding animals, the sheer beauty of the High Weald ANOB, and the cabin itself was such a lovely bolthole. I loved the encouragent to live slowly- like the manual coffee grinder. alo loved the big windows in the cabin.
I loved the location. It’s pretty isolated but not massively with 2 cabins nearby and the main house. I also think the organisation is great, in terms of reminders and the guide for the individual cabin and the signage around it.
Everything you need in a great location... couldn't ask for a better place to forget about the outside world!
Loved the location, size and comfort!
Loved the peace and quiet and how cute the cabin was. It had everything you need but was really minimalist.
Such a cute and cosy little cabin in a great, easy-to-access spot but still felt hidden!
Loved being disconnected from everything outside of plotting walks and keeping the burner going.
Loved the view, firplace and firepit, radio, books, and the calm

Loved the location in the woods and how quiet and peaceful it was
We could tell that you paid attention to just about every detail to help our unplugged stay be as enjoyable as possible. All the seating areas, the scrabble book so that we don’t have to feel stumped with words and no internet to help, the utensils and delicious coffee/tea, the open windows for outside viewing from the comfort of the bed…you really went above and beyond!
Beautiful cabin. Incredible location. One of the quietest places I’ve been
so peaceful, and the setup in the cabin was good.

The area where the cabin is situated is so gorgeous. It was really easy to find, it was so peaceful.
The cabin and its surrounds were lovely!
the feeling of being on an adventure and finally escaping from a busy and being digitally unavailable. And not having to worry about anyone around us and feeling like the world was our oyster (and not even being scared of the dark)
