Willow
Willow
Willow offers a true off-grid escape, nestled in her own private woodland with peaceful views over a lake and the surrounding forest. Just an hour from London, she feels wonderfully remote - a place where you can instantly disconnect from city life and sink into the quiet rhythm of nature.
Miles of forest footpaths begin just metres from the cabin. You're close to the charming town of Tunbridge Wells and the magical Ashdown Forest - famously the home of Winnie-the-Pooh. With over 6,500 acres of ancient woodland to discover, it’s a dream for walkers, cyclists, and explorers alike.
Designed for comfort and calm, Willow has everything you need for slow living in nature. There’s a hot shower, a king-sized bed with soft Piglet in Bed linen, and a little kitchenette with a gas hob for home-cooked meals. As a digital detox cabin, Willow also comes with a phone lockbox, radio, and plenty of board games - all the essentials for a phone-free retreat surrounded by woodland stillness.
Dogs are warmly welcomed at Willow, though as the area isn’t enclosed - and with open water and roaming wildlife nearby - we ask that they stay close and on a lead for their safety (and the wildlife’s too).
Please note: The track leading to Willow’s parking area can be a little bumpy, so it’s not suitable for very low-slung cars.

Ashdown Forest
Ashdown Forest is on the cabin's doorstep, and is actually the inspiration of the 100 Acre Wood in Winnie the Pooh. Spanning over 6,500 acres, you can walk, bike or even try horse-riding with Ashdown Forest Riding Centre.

Pooh Corner
Pooh Corner is a little tearoom/restaurant, situated on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. The perfect stop for either the casual visitor or the die hard fan of A.A. Milne's, Winnie the Pooh. Head for a bite to eat, something to drink, or just to check out the gift shop and museum.

The Dorset Arms
Only a stroll away from the cabin, offering real ales and fine British dining, The Dorset Arms is historic village pub with a modern approach. Expect a warm welcome, and delicious food made from locally sourced ingredients.

Historic homes
Hammerwood Park was built in 1792 by the architect of the White House and US Capitol Building. It was also purchased by Led Zepplin in the 60's. Today, as well as providing a venue for concerts and filming, the house and gardens are open to the public during summer months.

Sanden Vineyard
Sanden Vineyard is positioned in an AONB overlooking Harrison’s Rocks, and was originally planted in 1987. This small, family run vineyard produces a White and Blush Brut Sparking Wine, made in the traditional method of second fermentation in the bottle.

It was so perfectly set up, the bed was amazing (I desperately need to know what firmness the pillows were and which duvet you used, I’ve already googled the bedding!), the kitchen was perfectly stocked and that eco loo was great! The location was perfect and all the instructions were really helpful too!
Loved the peace and quiet, the attention to detail in the design of the cabin - everything designed to help you slow down.

Loved the calm, the beauty, the sauna, the quality of kit in the cabin, the staff, the location. Just about everything!
Loved everything. The cabin was lovely design and cosy. I felt safe by myself. Close to good trails and lovely places to visit. Has everything you need for the stay. I especially loved the compostable toilet. Just amazing, can I move in?

Quiet surroundings, beautiful view
Lovely set up and very much thoughtful presentation!
Everything was so well thought out and all with a tint of luxury. A simpler life was very much needed for connection, lowering cognitive load and just letting ourselves 'be'.
Well thought out, great supplies for slow living, sustainable and it was luxurious and comfortable.
Dear Unplugged, Thank you for an experience I will genuinely carry with me. Tucked away in the quiet of the woods, the cabin felt like a sanctuary — a place where the outside world finally fell away and I could simply be still. The seclusion gave me the space I didn’t know how much I needed: space to breathe, to reflect, and to slowly come back to myself. Everything about the cabin felt intentional and caring, providing comfort without distraction. At first, the idea of being completely off-grid was intimidating. Letting go of constant connection felt uncomfortable and unfamiliar. But in that discomfort, something shifted. The silence, the simplicity, and the absence of noise allowed a sense of calm and clarity to surface that I hadn’t felt in a long time. This experience reminded me how powerful it can be to step away, to disconnect, and to truly listen to yourself. I am deeply grateful for the chance to unplug, reset, and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and renewed.

Loved the nature, the cabin.
Loved the location, the views, the amenities inside the cabin to support your off-grid journey, how easily explained all the instructions were and signs around the cabin & directions leading up to the cabin
The cabin was brilliant and everything needed for a short stay. Location was also lovely, with the map and compass and amentities (pub, farm shop, cafe) all in easy reach. All the little touches like grinding the coffee beans, the instant camera and the fire pit all added to the sense of calm and mindfulness of the experience.
