Heidi
Heidi is a unique cabin tucked away in her very own clearing and is one of our most secluded cabins. Surrounded by peaceful woodland and painted the same soft forest green as the trees around her, she blends seamlessly into nature - as if she’s always been there. From her large picture window, you can gaze straight into the surrounding greenery, where the light shifts through the trees throughout the day. Step outside, and you’re only a few minutes’ walk from rolling hills and open countryside.
Inside, Heidi has everything you need for a restorative digital detox: a hot shower, gas hobs for cooking, and a phone lockbox to help you truly switch off and unwind. And of course, you will have all the offline essentials including an instant camera, books, board games and a map and compass for the local area.
Please note that unfortunately Heidi isn’t dog-friendly, as roaming wildlife often wanders close by - it’s part of what makes her setting so special.

Loved the peace of the location. The cabin being equipped with everything needed. Lots of storage for luggage. The picture windows. The cosy fire. The amazing shower. The linen bedding.
Perfect setting, super comfy bed and high quality bedding. The place seemed mostly really well maintained. I loved the layout.
The setting was beautiful and so peaceful. It felt like we had everything we needed for a digital break.
The cabin was amazing, really well designed, comfortable and easy to stay in. Loved the little touches especially bedding, camera, books and activities. Inside and outside we could relax and enjoy the area. Instructions were great to prepare and use the cabin, loved the app for easy access to information.
The attention to detail was incredible & really encouraged me to slow down. I loved grinding coffee beans in the morning, waking up to beautiful views of the woods, listening to cassettes, and taking polaroids.
Loved the cabin finish was great. Well equipped, everything working with ease, comfy bed and bedding, good facilities and entertainment, plenty of fire materials to keep us warm. Rural surrounds, but with comforts city-folk appreciate.

I loved how nice the cabin was, the comfort of the bed, the quality of the products (soap, shampoo, tea etc), the radio and cassettes, and the books and games provided. Also really appreciated the provision of wellies and an umbrella, it came in very handy. I also appreciated how much information we received beforehand, helped to ensure I felt completely prepared and majorly reduced anxiety.
The beautiful surroundings, the quiet, the cabin was equipped with everything we needed, replies to messages were fast and helpful, easy, no fuss check in. Bed was SO comfortable. Hours spent sat around the fire in the evenings were much needed relaxation. Shower was lovely.
Every little detail in the cabin was thought about! The location was perfect and it felt like we were completely remote even though things were walkable.
Everything was very organised and thoughtfully done. Was very prepared in knowing what train to book, what taxi company to call & what things would be provided. Was a little worried about going solo but it was a manageable challenge and felt all the better for it! I also felt I was able to properly switch off and relax which is what I wanted.
A really cosy cabin where it was easy to be off grid - very clear instructions for everything and all went very smoothly
