Jessi
Jessi is set on a decommissioned railway line in the Tylwch valley, with miles of woodland on either side and an open meadow stretching out in front of you that the resident sheep reside in. There is even a river running just down from the cabin that you can hear from the doorstep. Pack your swimwear because you have your own private hot tub to soak in under the stars. You'll spot lots of red kites and may even see them up close as they land in the surrounding trees.
Nestled in mid-Wales, you'll feel immersed in nature at Jessi, whilst still only being a short drive from the nearby town of Llanidloes, and even a brewery. Elan Valley is a must-visit: a series of dramatic dams, surrounded by the rolling Welsh hills. Hafren Forest is another great day trip, just 30 mins away and many different guided routes to choose from.
Inside you've got a log burner for the evenings, Piglet in Bed linen on the bed, a hot shower, and all the usual Unplugged bits: books, games, and an instant camera. Jessi is one of our newer cabins so includes a larger under counter fridge larger bathroom. Plus, you'll find our fave Pooky rechargeable lamp which makes the perfect reading lamp.
Dogs are very welcome too, Jessi is sits in a fenced enclosure to keep them (and the nearby sheep) safe and sound.

Hafren Forest
Hafren Forest is a gorgeous woodland with amazing signposted trails. It's also home to many waterfalls, including the Severn-Break-its-Neck waterfall. There are picnic areas near the car park and a riverside accessible trail to a viewing platform over the cascades.

Local Breweries & Eateries
Wilderness Brewery is a small-batch beer brewery on an orchard only 7 mins from the cabin. They make interesting farmhouse style beers, aged and soured in oak and you can visit their on-site shop Mon-Fri.

Elan Valley
A must-visit. Explore a dramatic series of Victorian reservoirs and dams (Craig Goch, Pen y Garreg, Garreg Ddu, Caban Coch) set in 72 square miles of stunning Welsh countryside. You'll feel an overwhelming sense of awe here (which is great for your noggin).

Llanidloes
Llanidloes is a charming market town with a rich history and a beautiful Market Hall at its heart. It's filled with independent shops and cafes, and hosts a weekly Saturday market in the town centre selling local produce.
