Poppy
Poppy
Poppy sits in a woodland clearing on the edge of a family-owned estate in Berkshire. It's only 90 minutes from London, but feels considerably further. There's a wood-fired hot tub outside, a fire pit to sit around at night, and a phone lockbox to stay as far away from your inbox as poss. Poppy is in her own corner of the woods, yet close enough to neighbouring cabin (Arlo) to makes her a perfect spot for solo travellers or those looking to travel in a larger group.
Inside you'll find a proper king bed, a hot shower, and a kitchen that's set up to cook your fave meals. When you're not in the hot tub, the cabin comes stocked with board games, a cassette radio, and a shelf of books. Plus, you'll find a physical map and compass to help navigate the local area.
Dogs are very welcome. It's worth noting that the outdoor area isn't fenced, so your pooch should be kept on a (long) lead to avoid them wandering off.
