We’re Unplugged, and we’re on a mission to help people switch off from the noise of modern life. Our off-grid cabins dotted across the UK are built for a digital detox and help busy folks disconnect from devices. No emails, no doomscrolling and no Netflix for three days. We’ve grown to 32 cabins with 87% yearly occupancy, set to double this number in 2025, plus already have an audience of nearly 200K on social media channels.
We’re looking for a Content Lead to join our small (but mighty) team of 10 to tell our story and grow a positive brand on digital platforms (oh, the irony).
So if you’re a creative powerhouse who’s obsessed with telling stories and inspiring the humans sat behind their Instagram and TikTok feeds to switch off, this job is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Dream it, make it, post it: From brainstorming big ideas to shooting content, you’ll own our content game across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- UGC wizardry: You’ll have a treasure trove of epic user-generated content to play with – and the skills to make it pop. Working with our Influencers and Partnerships Manager, you’ll help guide what content you need.
- Trendspotting: You’re that person who’s always ahead of the algorithm, spotting the next big thing before it’s big. Coming up with new ways to tell our story and inspire people to switch off every now and then.
- Engagement pro: You’ll grow our channels and give our community valuable, scroll-stopping content (literally) that feels as authentic as our cabins.
- Out in the wild: You’ll stay at cabins, join the operations team for cabin set-ups and get out in the wild to record content.
- Campaign curating: You’ll work with the team and creative agency to bring fun campaigns to life on socials.
- Test and learn: There’s no such thing as failure, just lessons. You will test new things, monitor performance and learn from them.

- Social media savvy: You understand how to stand out on Instagram and TikTok (bonus points if you’ve dabbled in LinkedIn too).
- Detail-oriented doer: You can juggle without dropping the ball – all while keeping quality high.
- Self-starter: You get things done. You can work collaboratively and solo, with attention to detail.
The Essentials
- London based
- Hybrid working (2 days in the office). You may be required to pop the wellies on and visit cabins outside of London to record content.
- No ‘traditional’ experience required but you will be able to demonstrate your skills and knowledge.
- KPIs: Engagement rate and channel growth (you’ll have a big say in how we get there)

- Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per year
