Our highlights

Our fave hidden highlights in the area

Bodmin Moor

In the heart of North East Cornwall, Bodmin Moor is a rugged, open area characterised by tors, heathland, and moorland ponies. The moor is a designated National Landscape and a popular spot for hiking and outdoor activities

Coombeshead Farm

Coombeshead is a 66 acre working farm and home to a bakery, restaurant and farm shop. The chef-led restaurant offers seasonal, farm-to-table dining. The farm shop stocks house-made sourdough, charcuterie and seasonal produce, alongside local wines, ales, and homewares.

Cardinham Woods

A Cornish hidden gem, these woods roll across the valley around a beautiful bubbling stream. There are stunning viewpoints, local wildlife, and a slice of Cornish history with the remnants of a a mine and bridge. Perfect for a gentle walk or an energetic hike, with a handy pitstop at Woods Cafe.

Prawn on the Lawn

Prawn on the Lawn is a vibrant seafood restaurant, serving daily-changing small plates, oysters, and whole fish sourced from Cornish day boats. A little drive away, but we think it's well worth it!

North Cornwall Beaches

If you have a car, you can easily get to the north or south coasts of Cornwall. You're about 40 minutes from Padstow, Perranporth Beach and Polzeath Beach. If you don't have a car, you can spot these coastlines from a nearby walk to a peak just 20 minutes from the cabin.

Eden Project

The Eden Project is a global garden, educational charity, and social enterprise, featuring on of the largest indoor rainforests in the world, a Mediterranean biome, and extensive outdoor gardens. It is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and remind us how to live with the planet, not against it.
